Johnson Family Cattle began in 2006 when Brad & Lindsay purchased bare farm ground in Shawano, WI and set out to raise a family and the finest Angus and Red Angus cattle. The farm, located in the township of Richmond near Red River, has grown to include 45 mother cows and the family has grown to include Isaac (8) and Charlotte (5). Brad and Lindsay grew up in the beef cattle industry and knew that was how they wanted to raise their family. Johnson Family Cattle is a family-run operation where no outside labor is hired. While Isaac and Charlotte may be young, they play an active role in the farm’s day-to-day activities. They are learning at an early age where their food comes, the importance of caring for animals and becoming excellent advocates for agriculture.
